Weaving and ply-splitting, two centuries-old fiber techniques compete equally for my creative energies. Mix in knotting, braiding, needle felting, and unlimited colorways, and I have a delightful pallet of interlacements beckoning me to bring them together in contemporary interpretations. I strive to make beautiful pieces, or ones with a light touch of whimsy to provide a brief respite from the serious concerns of everyday life.
